Brand philosophy

A routine is something you have to do. A ritual is something you look forward to. Everything we make is designed for the second — textures you love, scents that ground you, and results you can actually see.
We don't believe in 12-step regimens or buying a new serum every month. We believe in understanding your skin, choosing a few proven formulas and using them consistently. That's where real change happens.

We start with the evidence. Every hero ingredient is used at a concentration research supports, paired with supporting actives that make it gentler and more stable. If it can't be proven, it doesn't go in the bottle.

Glass and aluminium wherever possible, recycled paper shipping with no plastic fillers, and refills for our best sellers. Carbon-neutral standard shipping across India.

Every formula is dermatologically tested, stability-tested for Indian heat and humidity, and made in a GMP-certified facility. Batch numbers are traceable from ingredient to doorstep.
Cruelty-free, always
We never test on animals, at any stage, anywhere. Nearly everything we make is vegan — and when it isn't, we say so clearly on the pack.
Founder story
“I wanted the brand I couldn't find.”
VELORA was founded in 2024 by Ira Menon, a cosmetic chemist who spent a decade formulating for global beauty houses. Again and again, she watched brilliant ingredients get diluted by marketing — and saw how few products were tested for Indian skin, heat and humidity.
So she started small: a Bengaluru studio, a handful of formulas and a promise to only launch what she would use herself. Two years later, the community has grown to thousands — and the promise hasn't changed.
